Built For Heat, Strength & Fitment: Each W8K9D2 uses a 2.5″ 4-layer ASV voice coil wound with OFC wire made in USA and rated stable up to 200°C, supported by a double stacked 122 oz magnet and cast aluminum basket with black sanded finish. Dual 2-ohm coils, chrome binding posts, vented T-yoke cooling, rubber boot magnet cover, and a custom mounting gasket help achieve an air-tight mount; 7.32″ cutout and 5.91″ mounting depth.
Underseat Enclosure Design: The dual 8″ ported enclosure is specified for Ford F150 Super Crew 2009-Current and Ford F250/350 Super Duty 2017-Current, using an under seat front-fire layout with a durable bed liner finish. Provides 0.8 cubic feet of air space per sub, 11.25″ mounting depth, and a 35Hz tuning frequency to support deep low end while keeping cabin space usable.
